As Featured In NZ Life & Leisure: “Posh Picnicking Nosh” from Pembroke Patisserie

This month we were delighted to be featured in NZ Life & Leisure magazine’s Wanaka feature in their Collector’s Annual 2016 – The Insider’s Guide To New Zealand.

They dedicated a fantastic eight pages to all the great things there are to see and do in Wanaka – places to eat, activities to try and great experiences available throughout the area.

We were delighted to get a mention. Have a read about what they said about us below, and pick up a copy of the magazine to read the rest of the spread!

“For a spot of posh picnicking nosh, hunt down the wares of Matt and Kirsty Schmutsch. They are the clever artisan hands behind Pembroke Patisserie where croissants, macarons, strawberry tarts, eclairs and custard squares reign supreme. Many locals are addicted to their cronuts and their gingerbread biscuits are full of crisp, spicy joy. They bake fresh for the wanaka Farmers market (every Thursday from 3pm – 6pm in Pembroke park (now outside the Speights Ale House) and in the Summer time on Sundays from 10am – 2pm also. Some of their goodies can also be found at Florence’s Foodstore, Federal Diner, Urban Grind and Mediterranean Market”

Thanks for the mention guys!
