11 Sep Stockist Feature: The Coffee Shack, Wanaka

Our newest stockist is a cute little coffee stop on Brownston Street.

The Coffee Shack is owned by Bonnie Lam who has lived and worked in Wanaka for the past four years.

Bonnie originally came here from Auckland to snowboard, but fell in love with Wanaka and moved here permanently, working as a barista at a local café. Always wanting her own café, she thought about how she could have a place of her own, and noticed the quaint little wooden garage on Brownston Street that she has now turned into a welcoming haven for coffee lovers.

A barista for 12 years, Bonnie is passionate about staying on top of the latest coffee trends.  You only have to read some of the reviews on her Facebook page to know that she is doing a great job!

She sells Coffee Embassy as they are constantly seeking to stay ahead of trends, as well because their coffee is directly traceable to the origin, farm and producer. You can even buy some from The Coffee Shack to take home with you.

Bonnie is stocking our almond croissants as well as our gluten free chocolate brownies, doughnuts and chocolate croissants (but not all at once so it’s a nice surprise to see what is available when you visit!).
